The entire estate is gated and can be closed off, creating the feeling of having your own special place — a place where you can completely relax, spend time together and enjoy the surroundings at your own pace.
Shared spaces are free for residents to use: gallery space, café and open kitchen, TV room, workspace, outdoor kitchen, open bar, swimming pool, outdoor workout area, outdoor yoga and meditation area, massage facilities, beauty treatment facilities and outdoor living areas.

Weekly cleaning, fresh laundry service, and optional fridge-fill on arrival or by request. A dedicated residential manager ensures the house runs smoothly — quietly present, never intrusive.

Residents have access to high-speed Wi-Fi, elegant shared work lounges and fully self-contained private apartments, finished with quality materials and restrained design. Outside, the garden, pool and hot tub offer space to unwind, framed by panoramic views and the privacy of a gated estate.

Alex & Linda
Driven by a genuine love for Hillside, Portugal and a shared vision for high-end hospitality, Alex and Linda have personally shaped both the residence and the experience it offers.
Linda has known Portugal for almost thirty years and has lived on the Silver Coast for more than a decade. Together with Alex they combine local knowledge with a thoughtful, international approach to hospitality.
Their service is discreet, attentive and tailored to the individual. From the first enquiry to the smallest detail during a stay, residents can expect personal involvement, considered recommendations and support delivered with warmth and professionalism.

Common questions
How long do residents stay at Hillside House?
There is no fixed term and no minimum. Some stay a week or two, others a season, and plans often change once they are here. Tell us roughly how long you have in mind and we will work out the details with you.
How are rates arranged?
Rates depend on the apartment, the time of year and how long you stay, so they are agreed directly rather than published. Send us an enquiry with roughly when you would like to arrive and we will come back to you.
Is Hillside House suitable for remote work?
Yes. Every apartment has high-speed Wi-Fi, and the house has a shared workspace and work lounges. A serious place to work is part of the design rather than an extra.
Is Hillside House only for remote workers?
Not at all. Hillside House is also a perfect base for discovering the Silver Coast and experiencing a more authentic side of Portugal.
